Major crimes committed by violent youth offenders are not restricted to Panama or the third world, by any means. This report from CBC Edmonton indicates a 13-year old killer took an active part in two senseless murders and was on the way to a third site when apprehended. Here's a case that can be followed to see how he's dealt with. http://www.cbc.ca/news/canada/edmonton/edmonton-mac-store-shooting-deaths-1.3373218

Best New Years Eve Experience in Town

"Anybody who knows the Newslady". That's the thing, not everybody does. The Sabor reference was just an example. -
Best New Years Eve Experience in Town
Keith Woolford replied to NewsLady's topic in "News.Boquete" Archives
No kidding is right. I saw where The Rock is $90 pp. *** Wondering if I am the only one one who feels the Newslady gets a subliminal bad rap when her name appears as the bearer of unpopular news instead of the party that's responsible for it, in this case Sabor. In the manner that her posts appear it could be perceived that the Newslady is promoting the experience. -
Stoves With Glass Tops
Keith Woolford replied to Gordon Bakke's topic in Idle Chatter / Personal Musings
I always thought that in a minimal kitchen with limited counter space the glass top could provide a work surface for light prep and other tasks. -

Who Is In This Picture?
Keith Woolford replied to Dottie Atwater's topic in Water Cooler Topics, Rumor Central, Bochinche
With all due respect, and as much as I agree that the boquete.ning site has gone seriously sideways, is making statements or asking inflammatory questions like "Ning is racist?", which seem to be based solely on false assumptions, productive to anyone? -
Who Is In This Picture?
Keith Woolford replied to Dottie Atwater's topic in Water Cooler Topics, Rumor Central, Bochinche
The woman in the photo being served by the waiter from the Panamonte is Myrna Meza. The party was for a lady named Mimi who is about to blow out the candles. Jennifer hasn't lived in Boquete for at least seven or eight years. -
The situation may have been resolved. This ad appeared this morning on FB and Twitter. Se vende carne de Cordero interesados 720-2039 o 68887004

Actually, I only recall seeing a notice saying that the site was temporarily unavailable.

The attached letter is Ricardo Martinelli's response to Friday's hearing which he addressed to the citizens of Panama. Still in total denial of any wrongdoing, and claiming political persecution, it doesn't look like he's going anywhere without a fight.

If I'm not mistaken, the lady in the photo you refer to is Myrna Meza, a Panamanian and Lee Zelltzer's companion. -
This is an excellent synopsis of the current situation by Eric Jackson of The Panama News. http://www.thepanamanews.com/2015/12/will-martinelli-be-behind-bars-by-christmas-the-next-steps/

Deadbeat Dads are frowned upon everywhere. Your friend is technically 'indocumentado' and could actually be locked up by Panamanian Immigration for deportation. If he holds a Pensionado or other tourist visa that also became invalid as soon as the Passport expired. Deportation's probably not going to happen because no one will want to pay for the flight.

How Do I Stop Seeing News Boquete Postings as Part of Unread Content
Keith Woolford replied to Admin_01's question in Questions and Answers
Another option might be to review News Boquete postings on this site and discontinue the email service, theoretically saving an individual storage and inbox administration, etc. I vote in favour of letting the same people who pay the bills make the decisions. -
