What? Why start a Facebook site for lost pets? We have effective organizations like News Boquete and ARF, among others, who do an excellent job distributing information regarding animals. This site also posts helpful data for owners. Don't understand another place to search for the same information.

This makes me wonder what other "appointments" lead to favors to repay. Several here in Boquete? I understand corregiadors are political appointments. What other officials fit in this category?

To bad that people who submit these announcements don't/can't include all necessary information---like location of this program. Who, what, why, when & where data would be helpful.

I would add to this caution: Count the money (change) from clerks before you move away from the counter. Sometimes my change has been $2.00 too much and other times $5.00 too little. I believe this is an honest mistake, but math needs to be a major subject in the Panama schools.

I agree with the words about food, service, and pricing. The lack of parking is a real problem, however.

I checked the profile of Bond McCamy and learned that he joined CL on October 25, 2016 --- a recent member of about one week. Maybe he doesn't realize this topic is an "old hat" topic. I agree, Judy: no interest anymore. Also curious why Danielle thinks Bond's posting is racist? He was just asking whether Ambreen is the name of a real person. That has nothing to do with race, and seems like a legitimate question given the history and content of Boquete Ning.

Perhaps these negative markings are from Ning people? Just wondering.

Who is the person associated with Inspired Solutions? Where are they located and how long in business? Maybe this information should have been stated in their original ad (just my opinion here).

This flouting of the law by not allowing the pensionado discount to their customers seems to be a common thread for some of the local restaurants. Too bad. This doesn't bode well for their staying in business very long. And how did you like all those steps you had to climb to get to Seasons Restaurant? I think we won't return either.

Mr. Bakke: Perhaps you didn't notice the OP was signed by GyB. Then another member posted "Who are you? Initials don't do it for me". I don't know why this is such a big problem, causing you to spend so much time and blaming Penny. Perhaps an even simpler solution is for you to stop reading material posted by the Newslady on her FREE forum. Just my 2 cents.

My friend and I have always had delicious food at the Art Cafe during our many years of living in Boquete. Been there several times and enjoy the fair prices and good service. Daniel the owner greets us each time.

Suggest you stand by for an increase in your water bill. Our water bill was $50 per year......The new rate is $185 per year.

I agree with you, Penny, about the cost of food. Realized that many items (milk, fresh fruits, eggs, beef) more expensive here than in the Northwest part of U.S. And the cost of utilities (electricity and water)......very expensive here in Boquete.
