    Keith, I agree that Martinelli will not return to Panama any time soon. Probably not in our life time. How many attorneys on his staff working on his defense? Ah to have lots of money.

    Where are the results of an investigation posted indicating what happened (penalty) given to illegal drivers? Can't remember ever seeing this published.

    If this horrible man can do this to a dog, people in his area better keep a close watch on their children. (Sounds like a sick and dangerous man). I hope the dog's owner forces the Corregidor to follow the law for penal action.

    Sounds like the Corregedor may not know the law, Dottie, or just doesn't want to enforce it. Hope the family holds firm in seeking justice administered to the offender. A cousin? Would be removed from my family immediately for doing such a horrible and cowardly thing as beating this dog to death.

    I agree that this entire Cristiano Zeviani situation is a big confusing mess. Too many conflicting pieces of information. All of it couldn't be accurate or true. No one person seems to be in charge. Is this really a hoax? If this man is for certain missing, then a sad situation. But I wonder.

    I prefer postings (like Penny's notice above plus what Keith and others do on CL) showing referenced or source data instead of rumors or hear say material. i don't bother with the "other site" anymore.

    I sure am tired of all the plea for help notices. How in the world can we know what "a legitimate needy cause" is? Who is vetting these organizations that send out a request for money (and don't even name a person for contact if additional information is needed)? Too many of these requests. It is easy to send an e-mail requesting money or other donations and never report later about what happened to the money. Oh yeah, my personal bank account is low. Send me money....

    Attn Two Sailors: "Let's not get hung up on that" All this praise about Colibri Restaurant sounds like you are not even eligible for the Jubilado discount which is required by law. Yes, Colibri is getting "flack" because they are not being law abiding citizens. ACODECO in their future.

    The food at Colibri Restaurant may be good, but perhaps their "attitude" will be the deciding factor of just how long they stay in business. There are many other good places to eat in Boquete.

    Oh my gosh. Sorry about your encounter with Zum Enslander. But why so negative about all Germans. There are many living in this area. And many different nationalities eat pigs. What 's wrong with that? Their choice. This restaurant provides good food and good service. Why didn't 't you ask for information about their vegetarian options?

    Too bad Colibri was arrogant and forgot about customer service. I haven't eaten at this restaurant and won't bother now. McDonald's in David gets my money.
