All that being said about water conforming to potability standards where it was tested, there is still plenty of opportunity for contamination within the distribution system before it gets to your home. It's probably best practice to boil drinking water.

Transportation infrastructure is one of the principal keys to growth and Panama continues to improve in that area, and quickly. In the capital the addition of mass public transit in the form of Metro Line 1, which seemed like a bit of a folly when it was announced, is very impressive. Lines 2 and 3 should further help the movement of people and the announced 4th bridge over the Canal will improve vehicular movement. After years of navigating a tangled web of bad trails in Costa Rica and metropolitan San José in particular, it is refreshing to live somewhere where both pubic and private transportation is recognized as a priority.

Just want to make it abundantly clear that I personally admire and respect anyone who is trying to help an animal in need, be it through an organization or on an individual basis. What's wrong is when others, particularly professionals, take advantage of those kind-hearted individuals, and their trust, for monetary gain.
