Contact Keith Woolford....he is the guy to buy your car from. He has an excellent reputation! Which he well deserves!
For Graciela:
Keith is a member of CL. You may communicate with him privately via CL using the "private messaging" (PM) functionality.
Here is a link to his profile: http://www.chiriqui.life/profile/61-keith-woolford/. When you click on that link, then to the right of his display name you will find two links. The first link will "follow" Keith. The second link opens up the PM composition dialog. Only you and he can see the contents of what you send to him via a PM.

Somewhat difficult, but will get to work on this change immediately. ?

Thank you to our members for these kind words, support, and contributions.
We try to keep improving CL, and regret that sometimes it takes longer than desired to make improvements.
Please keep your suggestions and ideas coming forward. Everyone benefits when you do that.

The American Citizen Services (ACS) Unit at the U.S. Embassy in Panama has recently received a number of questions from U.S. Citizens regarding the new Social Security Administration my Social Security online tool. In order to use this new tool, U.S. Citizens must meet the following requirements:
You must be able to verify some information about yourself and:
· have a 10-digit cell phone number that can receive text messages,
· have a valid E-mail address,
· have a Social Security Number,
· have a U.S. mailing address, and
· be at least 18 years of age.
Based on the messages we have received, many U.S. Citizens in Panama have attempted to register for this new tool but, when they attempt to enter an 11-digit Panamanian cellphone number, the website does not accept it. Unfortunately, at this time, the my Social Security tool can only be used by individuals who are able to provide a 10-digit number. The Social Security Administration is working on improving the tool and making it accessible to a larger group of people but, at this time, only individuals who can provide a 10-digit cellphone number can use the service.
The Social Security Administration encourages customers who will not be able to access their personal my Social Security account to visit their website at www.socialsecurity.gov/agency/contactto learn about other ways to contact them to access their benefits information.

Bonnie,
Your posting has been incredibly well received.
This afternoon I found three requests for your posting to be converted to PDF format so that it could be downloaded, printed out in a nice format, and then saved on a local device. At first, I was not aware of how to achieve that goal, and actually responded to two people via email to that effect. And then I did some research. This is not an issue with CL, but rather a data interoperability issue that I previously was not aware of how to achieve. Turned out not to be difficult at all.
I am presuming that you you would not object, and so I am posting a PDF version of your posting here for others to download and print out.

P.S., To download documents from CL, a user must be a registered user and logged in.

A prior posting on this same general subject was merged with this topic for continuity purposes. We now know why President Varela, the vice president, and the first lady were personally attending the Pope's Youth Conference in Krakow this month -- as the host for the next such conference in three years.

Hello, I attended the talk given by Dr. Jennifer Daniels and was told after the talk that her power point presentation would be available on this Chiriqui Life website. Can you help me get a copy of that power point slide show, so that I can share the info with my loved ones. The info was shown on the screen very quickly and I didn't even have a pencil and paper to write it all down, even if I could write that fast. Can you please look into how I can get a copy of her slide show? My email address is charlie.conklin@cityoforlando.net. Thanks
The presentation materials were posted on CL as indicated along with a special announcement. And there was a notice sent out via News Boquete as well. Thank you for your interest in Dr. Daniels' presentation.
Here is the link to the wrap-up posting with the presentation materials and contact information:

It sounds like you have things under control.
Given what I currently know, it seems appropriate (as Admin_01) to leave this topic visible in order for all to see near closure. If you prefer otherwise, please send me a private message.

Not seeing any announcement here, just the NewsLady's footer.
I'll fix it. Sometimes the originator's email client formats the HTML is non-compliant ways. That is all Penny has to work with. It is a problem that Penny did not create, nor is it her responsibility to fix.

Further, be advised that we are in the beta testing phase of additional functionality regarding classified ads here on CL. When we complete the testing, then there will be an announcement about the changes in how classified ads are handled on CL. We think it is moving in the right direction. Just hang in there a bit longer until we are ready to go public. Until then, the above referenced link provides the guidelines as to how classified ads work on CL as of this point in time.
