    Oh my gosh! This sounds so unfair toward the Dog Camp who have done so much to help animals in this community. I believe all animal lovers should help Magaly and Javier. Do they have a Pay Pal account to accept donations to pay attorney fees? Anyone know?

    Note to Dottie re “stocking what people really want”........I’m noticed a large increase in the number of Panamanians shopping at PS. Perhaps this store is willing to stock only what these people are wanting to buy. (Hint.....how many locals feed their dogs the Kirkland dog biscuits?) And how many gringos have requested that PS stock this item? My suggestion is ask Panamanian friends what kind of olives they like.?

    Good to know what you would do. As a female I would not “greet the person and ask him his purpose for being there”. Someone needs to be invited to be on my property; or there is a problem. This guy may be non-threatening, perhaps not well, maybe doesn’t understand right from wrong, or a robber by choice, but his behavior is strange and unacceptable. Reports may be vague, but I believe they are real.

    Whoa! Wait a minute. You sound like you believe it is OK to have this guy stealing and trespassing here in Boquete. Did I misunderstand your post?

    Too many people tried too hard for too long to help this project. Perhaps no willingness on the manager’s behalf to manage (poor to no advertising, no return phone calls, property tours, etc.). Even local medical help was provided. Sad ending to what should have been a great facility for Boquete. Thanks to individuals who supported this effort.

    If gringos can’t get support/help from the US Embassy in PC (“answer the damn phone”) and a Panamanian passport (not happening), what to do for our safety?

    Just saying......maybe Panama has already began the deportation of US citizens ( or can you obtain a Panamian passport? I can’t, even tho I meet the so called requirements.) No border hopping allowed, no permanent US Ambassador in Panama, change in Warden responsibilities, emergencies contacts allowed one hour per day for only four days each week......just saying.

    Perhaps what is “true” depends on a person’s viewpoint and I agree few people are all good or all bad . I keep this in mind while several friends and I laugh when one person on another forum almost daily writes negative about Chiriqui Life.

    Thank you, Bud. I have stayed away from Chiriqui Life recently because of postings by some people. I think these are opinions and not provable facts. Very unfair. To much like on another forum. Different views are interesting and I like reading them. I don’t know the real situation about Alan Handt, but everything said can’t be true. Issue to be resolved by legal system not public opinion justice.
