How was our day yesterday?? 1. 8.45am Chris McColeman and Pauline Verkley came to walk the dogs, Chiki and Junior. 2. 9.30am Our friend Maureen from Angeles con Colita, came to pick up the cat traps that she borrowed from our friend Zoey Quimby. 3. 10.00am We received a call from our friend Laura Kasparian who was asking for help for a stray dog in the town.   10. Happy New Year 2018!! The dogs from DogCamp say thank you for all your support during this year. With your help we could help and rescue many animals. Remember that we are only two person trying to help animals in the Community. Actually we have 39 dogs plus our own three dogs, total 42 dogs and 2 cats (Arf is in charge of 7 dogs) We are helping with extra bag of food to a poor lady who rescued six big dogs and sometimes she doesn't have enough money to buy food for them.   11. Today we received Junior, he is a male puppy one month old, he was found for Laura crying near to her house in Volcancito. Now he is with us at the Dog Camp. Laura will cover all his expenses and we will take care of him. Tomorrow we will take Junior to see Dr. Chely! Adopt a rescued dog is the best option ever!!!   22. Another update: Good news for Zembla, her liver is not as bad as it looked. This means that I can start with the 3 weeks of doxicicline to treat the tick fever. She still needs the special Hepatic food and Hepatocan liver protection pills, combined with Hemavet to boost her blood values. She is also being dewormed. I'll keep you posted! This dog was found near the airport in David yesterday. We are urgently seeking donations for the care that will be required to help this dog.
