    Normally this kind of response would be done via a PM (private message), but given the possibility of helping many people, we are opting to comment here. If someone (must be a CL member and logged in) wishes to be notified anytime someone posts some content of interest on CL, then there is a fairly simple-to-use tool that makes that goal very easy. The concept is that of “following” something, where the something can be a topic, a forum, or a member. The ability to “follow” is not exactly what Judith is asking for, but maybe “following” would suffice in some scenarios. To “follow” (a stronger, slightly pejorative word would be to “stalk”) means that you will get a notification anytime there is activity in or by whatever it is that you are following. Notification is a configurable option by either an email (immediate or a digest version) or an on-screen pop-up display, or both. To follow a topic (or calendar event or blog posting, etc.), click on the “Follow” box in the upper right of the topic of interest. To follow a forum, go to the forum of interest and click on the “Follow” box in the upper right of the forum of interest. To follow a person, go to their profile (click on their Display Name) and then click on the “Follow member” link slightly to the right of their Display Name.     Sat, 05/12/2018 - 10:50 The Extraordinary General Assembly of the Olympic Committee of Panama (COP) unanimously chose the Panamanian Olympic taekwonder Carolena Cartens as its standard-bearer for the South American Games in Cochabamba, Bolivia, which will run from May 26 to June 8. Cartens, who is one of the medal options for Panamanians in these games, won this distinction by 7 votes from the 12 presidents of sports federations who met at the assembly. With Cartens the Panamanian karate fighter Héctor Cención, who added 3 votes, and the triathlete Petter Vega, who received 2 votes in his favor, were nominated. "The assembly has been quite intelligent in its choice, it's a girl who won gold in the South American past in Chile and who has been winning medals for Panama and is in a good moment, we are sure she will give us a medal in these games", the president of the COP, Camilo Amado, told ACAN-EFE. Panama will attend its seventh South American Games, this time will bring 56 athletes, where 40 will be male and 16 female and will compete in 52 of the 377 trials that make up the program of the South American joust. The Central American country will take athletes to compete in the disciplines: Athletics, Bowling, Boxing, Fencing, Golf, Judo, Karate, Weightlifting, Wrestling, Swimming, Pentathlon, Taekwondo, Triathlon and indoor Football. Amado said that the South American joust will serve as preparation for the Central American and Caribbean Games in Barranquilla 2018, which will take place from July 19 to August 3. "In part there is an objective that these games serve for a preparatory event for the other games, but in general the athletes who go to these games want to win," he said. On the possibilities of medals, the president of the COP said that "the athletes have trained really hard to get to the games as best prepared as possible."
