Some of the BCP board members met the cast and crew of the Shakespeare production last night. They were really wanting to see our little theater here at the BCP and were quite impressed with the set up.
I think there will be a touring production coming to Boquete in the future and it will be presented at the BCP.
Did the board members of BCP attend on Saturday? How was the performance?

Victor Hugo once said, “Talk about your village and you’ll be universal.”
The film helps comprehend the forces that create young criminals and gang members everywhere.
This review in Variety provides a good summary.
A two-decade chronicle of the growth of drug trade and gang warfare that grip the slums of Rio de Janeiro, “City of God” delivers a bruising, visceral experience of the vicious spiral of violence that draws kids into a life of crime, brutality and murder as the only avenue open to them.

Any report on ticket sales for this evening's performance?

A $15.000 REWARD has been offered for information leading to the killers of a 29-year old woman in a Chiriqui home invasion. She died in a hail of bullets that also critically injured her 59-year-old mother.
Apparently an arrest in this case was made in Paso Canoas and the subject is being arraigned immediately in David.

Because he only comes to David a few weekends per month, there are always many other folks waiting to see Dr.Young.
He does not see patients by time of appointment, but in order of arrival, and works marathon sessions while he's here.
I would advise anyone to go early and take a book.

Dr. Arosemena's clinic is in the Paitilla Medical Center but cataract surgeries are performed at the Centro de Cirugía Ocular in Ancon, a state of the art facility. He is an outstanding professional in this field.

Reading the Ogla's post and the responses, it is clear she does not understand "profiling" vs "observation". The housekeeper should be commended for being observant as well as relating both her knowledge and concern. I hope someone will relay the community's appreciation back to the housekeeper.
Agreed, Dan. This is profiling.

Instead of dealing with one problematic individual, a whole new policy was put in place which will, without a doubt, further inhibit the sharing of unpaid information.

This seems to be a perennial short term effort in this area of Boquete by some folks.
If people really want to help the children of that community, they should assist them in becoming documented so that they can participate in the national 'beca' or scholarship program, imo.

After serious trimming and cleaning, the average filete de res, or tenderloin, yields about 48 ounces or 3 pounds of bliss. We use 7 ounces plus a bacon wrapper on the filet mignons that we have prepared for Christmas Eve.

I don't even know what a crumpet is. Guess I'll have to re-read Little Miss Muffett.

Finding crumpets at the grocery in Barbados was a vacation bonus.

Believe it or not the last time I bought English muffins I got them at the Felipe Motta wine store in Plaza Terronal. As somebody said, cornstarch is everywhere is you know what it's called.
Let me know if you ever spot crumpets.

Keith what is your message? None of the items you show have something to do with the original question that was asking for information. Is there a Riba Smith store in this area that I don't know about?
You can order online and have your stuff sent here.
RS online offers over 16,000 items.
No doubt they will be opening a store in the new bus terminal Mall in David.

Thanks Bonnie. Was thinking of using the coupon this weekend but it says not valid on holidays and wasn't sure how they would interpret that.
