Moderator's viewpoint: It appears that PC has a moderately serious transportation problem - how to get people, goods, and services from point A to point B. This is a natural outcome of an expanding economy and growing population. Public transportation and public infrastructure programs are only part of the solution. Better planning and education (including driver training) are also needed. One can reasonably expect that not only will bus, Metro, and taxi fares go up, but really the costs for everything (the new Metro, more buses, better roadways, car inspections to reduce non-serviceable vehicles on the roadways, insurance expenses, etc.) will also be increasing. Higher transportation costs also affect the cost-of-living, such as food. I am curious as to how much spillover there will be from PC to Boquete and other provincial areas. http://www.newsroompanama.com/news/panama/varela-moves-expand-public-transport
