Abandoned Pony Update - Thank You Boquete !!!

A warm hello and a huge thanks to EVERYONE that responded to our request for help with the abandoned pony in Centro Jaramillo. The good news is that this animal now has a NEW HOME and should be enjoying his new surroundings as I write this email. Tina and I want to sincerely THANK EVERYONE that offered to help us in any way - including moral support ! It just goes to show that THERE ARE MANY kind-hearted people in the world. Community Carol Sing Practices Fellow Carol singers, We have been blessed with a rehearsal space at the church in Plaza SanFrancisco.( please note the change of location ) Our first get together is this coming Saturday at 2pm. Anyone who is interested in participating is invited to join us. Practices will be Saturdays from 2-4pm for the month of October, and Wednesdays and Saturdays for the month of November, 2-4pm. Hello Everyone, It’s been a long week with lots of ‘red tape’ to cut through to reach where we are now. But, I can now report the following: The owner was located and has released ownership of this abandoned animal – he has signed a paper stating the change of ownership, so we now have legal, temporary ownership. The Boquete ‘Correadora’ has also signed off on this change of ownership of the pony. The pony can now be legally moved to a better, more permanent home. Someone has examined the pony and determined he is NOT BLIND, he just has severe cataracts. Therefore, WHAT WE NEED NOW: Someone responsible who will give this poor animal a better, more permanent home. Transportation for the animal from our house in Jaramillo Centro to his new home (we will pay someone to SAFELY transport this animal – i.e., - NOT the back of an unrailed pick-up !)
