#17  If you see something in a store that they have not had or been out of forever, you buy half of what they have on the shelf.

Both very good restaurants. We have been to Boca Chica and for the price and food quality it is a great place. Free samples of crevice with every cerveza you order!

#11) a gringo is compalining about everything and you know they will be moving back soon. ( Hopefully!)

Had dinner at Retro Gusto last week.

Pros:

Great atmosphere, attentive servers, great menu and very reasonably priced and nice choices on the wine list.

Agree with Phyllis that hopefully the "promotional prices" stay the same.

Cons:

Timing of meals coming out of the kitchen is very slow, took an hour to get our meals after we placed the order. There were only 5-6 other tables. Looking around at other tables people also were waiting for their food.

Filet Mignon ordered Med Rare came out well done. Pork chop over cooked and dryed out. David did offer to re do the entrees but we didn't want to wait another hour and he did offer complimentary Limoncello. 

We will go back and give it another try.
