(1 ½ hours) We will visit a first restaurant to have a drink and the entrance (1 hour) Finally dinner and dessert will be served in another restaurant that includes main course, dessert and a drink.
Duration approximately 6 hours

DEEP FLOW YOGA
MONDAY & THURSDAY 8 AM, and TUESDAY 11 AM
Vinyasa means breath to movement and is often referred to as a “flow style” of yoga. The Vinyasa practice becomes a moving meditation linking each posture together with a fluid breath flow. It is a practice that creates strength, flexibility and unity within the mind and body.
Deep Flow Yoga a is a form of vinyasa that is challenging and powerful. Poses are held longer than traditional vinyasa to help build stronger muscles. If you are looking to challenge yourself while building strength and endurance, power yoga is a good fit for you.

GENTLE YOGA
MONDAY thru FRIDAY 9:30 - 10:30 AM
5-Days a Week! A Gentle Yoga class that encourages breath & body-awareness, as we blend traditional poses with conscious movement. Great for beginners, or those who prefer a more relaxed, mindful style. Options are given and requests are encouraged.
Each class is tailored to the group's needs. This is done in the spirit of yoga as a healing practice, where asanas (poses) are given for various conditions (ie, back pain, tight shoulders, etc.) Yoga works in subtle and profound ways. The more you listen your body’s needs... and the more supportive and deep your practice will become. Results include increased strength, flexibility, balance, & enhanced overall well being.
Overall, the goal is simple: To Feel Good! Strengthen, stretch, and smile your way into the day.

YIN YOGA
THURSDAY 11 AM
Yin Yoga is a gentle yoga style where most of the postures are performed on the ground with gentle movements, staying in the posture for several minutes to work deeply at the level of the joints, tendons and the fascia that covers all of them. our organs and muscles.
In Yin Yoga, no physical warm-up is needed prior to the postures, since the aim is to work on the real range of flexibility of the body. However to bring some balance to this passivity, classes may start with some "Yang" in the form of Vinyasa movements, light joint movements or Tai Chi.
Yin Yoga is a fusion between Taoist yoga, martial arts and concepts of traditional Chinese medicine. We use circular breathing, that is, continuous without retention, obtaining the benefits of breathing and achieving meditation and being present in the here and now.
Yin Yoga seeks to harmonize the 5 elements of traditional Chinese medicine: Wood, Fire, Earth, Metal and Water, through their corresponding YIN meridians: Liver, heart, spleen/pancreas, lung, kidneys; and of the YANG meridians corresponding to the viscera: gallbladder, small intestine, stomach, large intestine and bladder, with yoga postures.
According to Traditional Chinese Medicine, to maintain health, we must be in harmony and balance with ourselves and with nature.
Wear clothes that allow them to move easily, that are not tight and do not use jewelry or metallic accessories.
ACCESSORIES FOR PRACTICE
The important thing in yin yoga is to be comfortable. Mats, blocks and straps are available at The Studio for your use, but you may prefer to bring your own. You are also encouraged to bring a bolster (an elongated rigid cushion, a blanket or large towel).
* don't worry if you don't have all the supplies for the first class, bring from home what you see that can work for you and little by little you will put together your ideal yin yoga kit for you.
In class we will:
• Focus on the breath
• Pay attention to the reaction of the body and mind
• Maintain meditative state
• Relax, smile and flow with the practice.
Additionally, the three commitments you are asked to keep are as follows.
1) Balance in your action. Take care not to hurt yourself but always make an effort not to stay at a level of "comfort" but rather to "seek comfort in discomfort".
2) Commitment to permanence in the stillness of the posture once you reach it
3) Commitment to maintaining the posture for a long time

By Moderator_02,
The party was planned and executed by a recently formed group of expats under the name of Amigos de Boquete Comunidad (ABC). Joe Hart and his wife, Linda, along with numerous volunteers put together this festive gathering. Our hats off to Joe, Linda, and all of their elves.
Here are a few pictures from this event:

ARF Thanksgiving Meal
By Bud,
An unexpected plus for us was that we finally got to meet Beth Abrahams (it is kind of a long story, don't ask).
Beth Abrahams
We also got to catch up with all of the latest travels and happenings of our friends who were at our table. Met a few new people, etc.
There simply was nothing that we could fault (not our goal anyway). This is the way things should be done, and ARF did it with all of their wonderful volunteers. If someone found fault with something yesterday, then I would chalk them off as being a token curmudgeon. Thank you ARF! GREAT JOB!!!!
Thank you to all who helped make yesterday's Thanksgiving Day celebration such a huge success, and special thanks to N&N:
I will close with: we all have a lot to be thankful for.
