Just review the instructions on how to set up your own activity stream. Need help? Yes I would like help. If I can look at the unread posts without having to wade through numerous posts on that topic, I would like to know how. I'm just getting tired of having to scroll through multiple Martinelli posts just to find other things I haven't read.
Bonnie
Judy, here are the instructions about how to set up your own activity stream: It works. It took a few minutes, but now I don't have to see repeats of posts I get by email from News Boquete, BCP, etc. I found it to be less time-consuming than posting to complain all the time. JudyS
It looks like I would have to exclude whole forum categories. I don't want to do that, just exclude that annoying Martinelli topic. Oh well. I guess I'll live with it and just hope he eventually disappears.

JudyS: Sorry that CL can't meet your very specific display preferences to a tee. Most people come into CL via the activity stream (of some variety), and they find it very easy to skip over or bypass the postings that are not of interest to them. View what you are interested in, and then mark the site as "read", and those ignored postings are forever bypassed in the future (unless and until there is an additional reply in that topic). Moderators Moderator_02 Posted September 20, 2016 Moderators Share Posted September 20, 2016 Quote Absconder Mizrachi meets prosecutor Posted on September 19, 2016 in Panama Belfon and Mizrachi Post Views: 117 FORMER FUGITIVE Mayer Mizrachi arrived at the Pubic Ministry on Monday September 19 to face interrogation in the first of two cases against him. He was accompanied by his lawyer, former Panama Attorney General Ana Belfon, who was appointed by ex-president Ricardo Martinelli, brother-in law of Mizrachi’s father Aaron. Mizrachi who has a record of flaunting his image and brushes with the law on social media was wearing a smirk, but not the Criptex sweat shirt that has been exhibited on some of his Twitter messages. He is currently under investigation for the commission of crimes against public administration to the detriment of the Government Innovation Authority (AIG) and was questioned by the Seventh Anticorruption Prosecutor. Mizrachi has been accused of laundering the money paid to him by the government. Mizrachi is back in Panama after being expelled from Colombia following failed attempts to get political asylum. He had been held there since December 2015. He is barred from leaving the country after bail was set at $100,000 by the Second Superior Court. An internal AIG audit revealed that Mizrachi’s Innovative Venture company did not comply with establishing the the creation and integration of a single, private network for the security agencies: National Police, Ministry of Public Security, Ministry of the Presidency and the Public Ministry. The contract was to connect 100 users in the entities to the system. Mizrachi left the country before the job was done and was arrested on an Interpol waaant in Colombia. There is an Interpol Red Alert for his father, wanted on other charges. Meanwhile, Mizrachi junior continues to smile for the cameras. http://www.newsroompanama.com/news/panama/absconer-mizrachi-meets-prosecutor

Moderators Moderator_02 Posted February 1, 2017 Moderators Share Posted February 1, 2017 Quote Fugitive’s lawyer stalls CSS bribery hearing Posted on January 31, 2017 in Panama Analida Martinelli and Aaron Mizrachi Post Views: 71 A PETITIION presented by the lawyer of a man related to Ricardo Martinelli and who is wanted by Interpol has stalled a preliminary hearing in the case involving irregularities in the purchase of software from the German company SAP. Charged in the case before the 13th Criminal Court are former National Authority for Government Innovation (AIG) Director Eduardo Jaén, former Social Security Director Guillermo Sáez Llorens, Aaron “Ronny” Mizrachi, the brother in law of former President Martinelli, and 14 others. The preliminary hearing was suspended when Silvio Guerra, the lawyer for Mizrachi, who has never personally appeared in the process presented his petition. Since last April, the Public Ministry has sought Mizrachi’s capture through Interpol. The only defendant who remains under preventive detention is Eduardo Jaén. The charges relate to the Social Security (CSS) purchase of software through the company Advanced Consulting, the supplier of SAP in Panama. The investigation began after Vicente Garcia, former vice president of Global Sales for Latin America at SAP, admitted to U.S. officials that he bribed people in Panama to close the deal between Advanced Consulting and Social Security. Garcia said Mizrachi was like “a goalkeeper” who used his relationship with President Martinelli to obtain bribes. Martinelli is also being investigated, but the case against him is being handled by the Supreme Court. http://www.newsroompanama.com/news/panama/fugitives-lawyer-stalls-css-bribery-hearing
Moderators Moderator_02 Posted December 10, 2017 Moderators Share Posted December 10, 2017 Quote FBI helps impugn Martinelli brother in law Posted on December 9, 2017 in Panama Aaron Mizrachi Post Views: 205 AARON MIZRACHI brother in law of ex-president Ricardo Martinelli, already facing charges in multiple investigations by anticorruption prosecutors has been named a key player in the investigation of the alleged payment of bribes for the contract for a $14.5 million computer program for the Social Security Service, from the German company SAP. The Second Superior Court has revoked a judgment of the Thirteenth Criminal Court and declared the continuing investigation of Mizrachi for the crime of influence peddling is valid. FBI agent Stuart Andrew Robinson, who has been working undercover, declared to the Sixth Anti-Corruption Prosecutor’s Office that Mizrachi “was the entrance to the deal” so that the contract was achieved. He said that in February 2010 Mizrachi met with Vicente García, former vice president of SAP 9and now jailed), who confessed before the US justice that he paid bribes in Panama for the contract. http://www.newsroompanama.com/news/panama/fbi-helps-impugn-martinelli-brother-law

Moderators Moderator_02 Posted March 26, 2021 Moderators Share Posted March 26, 2021 Quote Multi millions plea deal gets Mizrachi off hook Posted 25/03/2021 A collaboration agreement with the First Specialized Prosecutor's Office against Organized Crime by Henri Mizrachi Kohen led $9.2 million in shares of Editora Panamá América, SA (Epasa) being recovered, as part of the investigation of the New Business case, for alleged money laundering. La Prensa has confirmed that, of that amount, 20% corresponds to the shares of Mizrachi. It is not known who owns the remaining 10%. The amount recovered, that has already been remitted to the National Treasury, is equivalent to 30% of Epasa's total shares. Mizrachi delivered the actions as part of a Crime, which was validated by Baloisa Marquínez, Third Judge of Criminal Proceedings. Prosecutor Emeldo Márquez also requested to archive the case regarding Mizrachi, who until then appeared as one of the defendants in the file. The judge accepted the request and also suspended the precautionary measure preventing him from leaving the country, imposed on Mizrachi in 2018. In this case, the prosecution requests a trial for 25 people and the dismissal of nine. So far, the names have not been provided. Former president Ricardo Martinelli is among those called to trial. https://www.newsroompanama.com/business/multi-millions-plea-deal-gets-mizrachi-off-hook
