Did you know that Boquete Rotary Club is hosting

6 Firemen from Sooke; BC, Canada?

They are:

BEN, CAM, CHRIS, JASON, JOHN AND MATT.

For some of them this is their second visit.

They came with fire equipment to instruct our local firemen.

The equipment brought will stay in Boquete!!!

Isn´t this great news for our community?

Their last day at the Fire Station will be tomorrow, Thursday.

Please note that today, Wednesday, they will be in David

If you can, please, drop by and let them know how grateful

we are for their dedication and for helping our community.

They will be happy to see you!

They take a break at around 10:00 am. and 2:00 pm.

Lunch break is at 12:15 pm. to 1:00pm

I asked and I was told that on Thursday you are welcome to

drop by at anytime.

There are many Firemen men and women who came from:

Dolega, Caldera and Potrerillos to learn from these six

outstanding Firemen.

Rotary Club is always working for our community.

We usually work quietly, this time we need your help to show

them how thankful the community is and how much we appreciate

their great effort.

Thank you in advance to all of you who will come tomorrow to the

Fire Station.

These firefighters work really hard to raise the required funds to make this journey.

What a shame that the scrap vehicles in advance that are required for them to teach their skills weren't organized prior to their arrival. I understand that, as of  yesterday, five more junkers were still required. Hopefully, that issue will be resolved quickly.

We took the donuts in yesterday morning and they were received with gusto! They are a terrific group and it was nice to be able to say Hello and Thanks. They love coming here and said they've been pleased with the exceptional professionalism and progress of our Bomberos.

P.S. The donuts are wonderful and are from the Moon Valley Donut Factory and Restaurant..on the diagonal from eShop and on the other side of the parking lot from the Laboratorio.
