    Monday April 1st, no fooling, we'll start the month with a favorite hike - Pianista Loop. We'll leave at 8:00 AM from Multibank for a hike with moderate hills over paved streets, level 7 for distance and difficulty, 6.1 miles, 13,800 steps. If interested email rimerman1@gmail.com.

    Saturday March 30th we'll finish the month leaving from the Feria at 8:00 AM and hiking to the Panamonte bridge then the river path looping back to the Feria. This is a 1 hour flat hike over pavement, level 1 for distance and difficulty. If interested email rimerman1@gmail.com.

    Friday March 29th we'll leave at 8:00 AM from Multibank, drive to Alto Quiela nd hike the trail in Finca Lérida. This is a 2 hour in/out hike with moderate hills, level 7 for distance and difficulty followed by breakfast at the Lérida restaurant. Bring water and wear hiking boots.     Wednesday March 27th we'll leave at 8:00 AM from Multibank, drive to Caldera and hike the Kennedy Macano Road - a new hike.     Tuesday March 26th (World Epilepsy Day) we'll leave at 8:00 AM from Multibank and hike the Social Security loop. This is a <1 hour hike in town over paved streets, essentially flat, level 1 for distance and difficulty.     Monday March 25th (World Slavery Day) we'll leave at 8:00 AM from Multibank, drive to the Pipeline Trail entrance and hike to/from the National Park ranger station. This is a 2 hour hike over paved and gravel streets with several steep hills, level 7 for distance, level 8 for difficulty, 4.8 miles, 11,200 steps. Bring water and wear hiking boots. This is a 2 hour hike over gravel streets with moderate hills, level 7 for distance and difficulty, 5 miles, 11,400 steps. Bring water and wear hiking boots. This is a 2+ hour hike over a mostly gravel street with a very long shallow hill followed by a steep hill at the end, level 5 for distance, level 8 for difficulty, 4.1 miles, 9200 steps, 1790 ft vertical. This is a 2 hour in/out hike over a paved street and rainforest trail with moderate hills, level 7 for distance and difficulty. Bring water and a hiking stick and wear hiking boots.     Wednesday February 28th we'll do a special new hike that was rained out last week and which I'm opening to the Basic hikers too. We'll leave at 8:00 AM from Multibank, drive to Alto Quiel and hike Finca Lerida. There's normally a $12.50 per person fee, however it will be waived for Take-A-Hike only if we stay for breakfast/lunch after. Since we haven't done this I don't have distance or difficulty ratings but expect them to be 6-7. Bring water and a hiking stick and wear hiking boots. I need a count for driving and hiking, so please let me know if you're coming and if you're driving including the number of passengers including yourself - we don't want to have to leave people behind.
