A lot of poor Panamanian people
A lot of 'the poor' Panamanian people in the Capital are Taxi drivers, and they were around a long time before Uber showed up.
You want to replace Taxis with unmarked cars from the Uber platform and put tens of thousands of marginally employed people out of work so I'm not convinced that "poor people" are your concern.
Uber was meant to be an transportation option for those wishing a premium service and it was originally presented and marketed as such in Panama.

There are very few construction projects with fixed price contracts, major or minor, anywhere, which are completed without change orders being issued.

Interesting. In some parts of the world this practice would be banned since it's discriminatory towards people who can't afford to maintain bank accounts let alone credit or debit cards.
This is an impending condition of the License to operate being imposed by the government.
There are tens of thousands of taxis 🚕 which take cash.

As of October 1st, no more UBER for cash.
A good thing imo, as it differentiates the service from Taxis and Tourism drivers.

Are airport gates and lounges dedicated to certain flights? Why can't these facilities be shared?
I'm sure there are other flights that only come and go twice a day.

Was the building in$ured ?
Keith, is that an issue?
It's one of the first questions a Fire Marshall asks when fire consumes an unoccupied building.

Improving service by performing regularly scheduled maintenance is a concept which has been unknown or ignored in many situations such as infrastructure, facilities, and vehicles.
I'm attempting to see the current efforts of blitzing an area as a good start.

I read that the Kiosko will re-open on Tuesday.

Today's outage was the re-scheduled shutdown which was cancelled earlier due to inclement weather. The power was supposed to be restored by 9:45 but they ran late.
There are a number of very big crews doing maintenance work all over the country in response to directives from ASEP to improve service.

When flicking a moth off the wall I have noticed a dust that emanates from their wings which I suppose are scales.
Interesting that uric acid creates a yellow coloration in butterflies. Same as snow.

This baffles me. How do people get butterfly fluff all over their skin? And I would love to know what this evil butterfly that attacks ankles looks like.
Wikipedia: Butterfly adults are characterized by their four scale-covered wings, which give the Lepidoptera their name (Ancient Greek λεπίς lepís, scale + πτερόν pterón, wing). These scales give butterfly wings their colour: they are pigmented with melanins that give them blacks and browns, as well as uric acid derivatives and flavones that give them yellows, but many of the blues, greens, reds and iridescent colours are created by structural coloration produced by the micro-structures of the scales and hairs.

I could not find any reference to the genus 'Hyglesias', let alone a photo. Turns out that's because it was misspelled. The correct genus is Hylesias.
Wikipedia: Hylesia is a genus of moths in the family Saturniidae. The genus was erected by Jacob Hübner in 1820
Some are Nigrinis or Black Moths

Never been a huge potato chip fan but i do like the ones that are imported from Spain by Gago Bros.
Drizzled with olive oil and sprinkled with sea salt.

Lost my Appetito for that service before I even used it.
Also, Domino's Pizza is investing major dough $ in Chiriqui in an effort to expand their market share. IMO, their product is terrible.

Why not rename this category to Casa Solutions?
Good one Ricco, but it's not their fault that no one else is taking advantage of the opportunity to mount free advertising.

More local groceries are selling USDA beef these days but it's pricey.
- Casa de Jamon
- Super Baru
- Dorado Plus
- City Mall

Are exports of beef and chicken not driving up prices for nationals ?
Is there sufficient production to serve both markets ?

the argument that the US or "First World Countries" need to lead the way and that everyone else will just simply follow.
That's right, Dan. Everyone will not just simply follow.
That's the reason that international agreements on a myriad of issues which have a global effect are required.

Some people seemingly have a problem for every solution.
Ocean pollution is a global crisis. First world countries should be leading by example, not by finger pointing at others while shunning their own responsibilities.
Some of these topics were covered in the Trans-Pacific Partnership agreement which the U.S. abandoned and is now defunct.
