hope the reason for the original question of naming the best restaurant for breakfast was not a platform for all the negative posts and trying to cause trouble for various eateries.

    Pat,

These are NOT negative post replies. Simply a matter of actual experience. And the post is NOT about naming the best restaurant.  Penny is simply looking for suggestions for a decent breakfast place in David. Which a lot of us here on  CL would appreciate knowing. As for Mcdonalds, I worked in that industry for many years. I would not put any fast food product into my body.

    From Jim and Judi:

No chance in hell I'm eating at McD's. Id rather  eat a pbj at home.

    TOTALLY agree!!

From Brundageba   Multi Cafe.   Not cheap but complete and good. Two of them close to the center of David

I believe this is the kind of info that Penny would appreciate.

  2. That's a tuff one!

Heard Nuevo Futuro is good for Dim Sum. Ate breakfast buffet at Hotel Nacional. It was terrible! They do a very good lunch buffet though. Heard that Restaurant Stylo, Java Juice, and Multi Cafe are decent. Have not been to either of them. Decent reviews on Trip Advisor:

    You gotta work at it.

I agree. We have taken private lessons, one on one, Spanish classes with Lisca Bruna. An excellent teacher. She gears the class for you. She can also teach two students that are on the same level together.

Personally, I do not do well in a group class. Some students will be way ahead of me and some not. Especially in a large class.

It is concerning that the entry into force of this Decree in January 2018 will negatively impact the more than 225,000 users and more than 8,000 driving partners, of which 63% are heads of families,” said Andrés Echandi, general manager of Uber Central America.

Did not know that. Wonder how accurate 8000 driving partners are? Let's say they work 3 shifts, that is 2000 or so cars and drivers for Uber on the street. Even 1000 is not right. That would mean you should get an Uber driver anywhere in the city limits to you in 10 seconds!

Good job, TwoSailors. Did you use the search capability on CL to quickly locate this information published here last August?

(Hint to other members):  on a tablet or mobile device just click on the magnifying glass and type in what you are searching for; on a desktop/laptop look for the “search box” in the upper right.)

Actually, I Googled it. It was CL first response. I Google everything! Wish I got money from them doing that! Ha! O.o

  6. On Monday while driving the speed limit on the Boquete Highway going to David vehicles passed me at a very high speed. I was driving at the speed limit give or take 5 mph.

So I started to count them. By the time I got to David well over 20 vehicles passed me at a very excessive speed! But let's crack down on vehicle paperwork. I understand there is money to be made there but really, where on Earth is their priorities?
