Dear Rotarians and Friends of Rotary
We are embarking on one of the most aggressive fundraisings in Club Rotario de Boquete's history. During this time of COVID, our St Patrick's Day Dinner at Boulder54 Restaurant limits the number of participants for our silent auction on March 17th from 3:30 to 8:30, so we decided to extend the event with an online silent auction in coordination with the physical event. This demands that all participants, whether at home bidding or at Boulder54 Restaurant, will need to register online to participate in the auction to reflect real-time bidding.
The poster shows the link for registration. You may start registering on March 15th. Once you are registered, you can see the gallery of items on the auction block. If you want a closer look at the item, just hit the box of the item.
Winners of any items can pick their prize up at Club Rotario de Boquete's booth at Tuesday Market. If there are any other types of arrangements you prefer, please contact us at Rotaryclubofboquete@gmail.com and let us know. For people outside of the country, we will gladly make deliveries C.O.D. or you can arrange to pay for delivery by emailing us.
The official registration day for the silent auction is March 12, 2021.
The official bidding date for items in the auction starts March 15, 2021
All bids will end at 8:30 pm, March 17, 2021.
We look forward to the virtual portion of our St Patrick's day celebration and raising the much-needed funds for our Manchichi Project.

Community Christmas Party Hosted by Amigos de Boquete Comunidad
By Moderator_02,
The party was planned and executed by a recently formed group of expats under the name of Amigos de Boquete Comunidad (ABC). Joe Hart and his wife, Linda, along with numerous volunteers put together this festive gathering. Our hats off to Joe, Linda, and all of their elves.
Here are a few pictures from this event:

ARF Thanksgiving Meal
By Bud,
An unexpected plus for us was that we finally got to meet Beth Abrahams (it is kind of a long story, don't ask).
Beth Abrahams
We also got to catch up with all of the latest travels and happenings of our friends who were at our table. Met a few new people, etc.
There simply was nothing that we could fault (not our goal anyway). This is the way things should be done, and ARF did it with all of their wonderful volunteers. If someone found fault with something yesterday, then I would chalk them off as being a token curmudgeon. Thank you ARF! GREAT JOB!!!!
Thank you to all who helped make yesterday's Thanksgiving Day celebration such a huge success, and special thanks to N&N:
I will close with: we all have a lot to be thankful for.
