5 TIBETAN RITES
SUNDAY 11 AM
We start with warm-up exercises. The Five Tibetan Rites are a set of exercises to promote health, vitality, and a youthful appearance. They are often described as a "fountain of youth". The five rites involve specific movements and breathing techniques, which are thought to activate the body's energy centers (chakras) and improve overall well-being. We end with stretch-exercises and a short meditation. Instructor: Mounir Afkir
Language: English

A unique coffee-tasting experience, eat & drink coffee, while learning about Panama’s unique Specialty Coffee. During this hour and a half, coffee expert Melanie lets you relish coffee prepared by 3 different methods:
THE BLEND
THE METHOD
THE COMBINATION
We start the afternoon with our Mounelli Houseblend, coffee locally sourced in Boquete, where we explain the different coffee varieties (Catuai, Pacamara & Geisha) and their flavour profile. Second, we try our Geisha Cold Brew, where we discuss flavour -& roasting profiles and this unique cold brewing method. To accompany this lovely Geisha coffee, we serve a classic Italian dessert, the tiramisu, prepared with our espresso blend.
During the tasting, participants will receive tips & tricks to brew coffee better at home and a handy leaflet with the coffee and dessert recipes.
Barista Trainer: Melanie D. Nunes, Belgian Barista Champion 2009.

Community Christmas Party Hosted by Amigos de Boquete Comunidad
By Moderator_02,
The party was planned and executed by a recently formed group of expats under the name of Amigos de Boquete Comunidad (ABC). Joe Hart and his wife, Linda, along with numerous volunteers put together this festive gathering. Our hats off to Joe, Linda, and all of their elves.
Here are a few pictures from this event:

ARF Thanksgiving Meal
By Bud,
An unexpected plus for us was that we finally got to meet Beth Abrahams (it is kind of a long story, don't ask).
Beth Abrahams
We also got to catch up with all of the latest travels and happenings of our friends who were at our table. Met a few new people, etc.
There simply was nothing that we could fault (not our goal anyway). This is the way things should be done, and ARF did it with all of their wonderful volunteers. If someone found fault with something yesterday, then I would chalk them off as being a token curmudgeon. Thank you ARF! GREAT JOB!!!!
Thank you to all who helped make yesterday's Thanksgiving Day celebration such a huge success, and special thanks to N&N:
I will close with: we all have a lot to be thankful for.
