Friday, July 10, 2020 The "System for monitoring the markets and economic situation in Central American countries", developed by CentralAmericaData, forecasts the variations that the demand of households for different goods and services will suffer in this new commercial reality, through a model of sensibility of demand-income. This analysis is based on the assumption that the measures restricting mobility in the country were extended for three months. According to the interactive report, in these new market conditions, it is estimated that in the coming months, beer demand will decrease by 3% when compared to the levels registered in the first two months of 2020. In the cases of the white, rosé and red table wine markets, it is predicted that in the new commercial reality, sales will fall between 2% and 3%.
