NewsLady
Just received this warning from our neighborhood vigilantes. If at night someone throws an egg against the windshield, we recommend for you to do the following. Keep calm and accelerate. Do not use the windscreen wiper. Never put water on the windshield when someone has thrown and egg on it. Accelerate quickly do not stop. This is a ploy of thieves and they are close by waiting for you to stop . Explanation. The egg and water, when they join, form a viscous substance like milk that will prevent you from seeing where you are going, blocking your vision as much as 90%, You will be forced to stop where you are and there you will be a victim of the thieves. This is the future intention invented by thieves. Please share it with your family and friends.
Jim and Judi
This urban legend has been floating around the internet for years without substantiation. Unless someone knows this has actually happened, this "warning" is about as helpful as warning you that someone may throw dog crap at your windshield. You'll also find Utube videos trying to replicate the "egg and water, when they join, form a viscous substance like milk that will prevent you from seeing where you are going, blocking your vision as much as 90%" scenario without success.
Keith Woolford
Awareness is good, but this is not the kind of assault we're likely to be dealing with here.
Roger B
Jim and Judy are right. I have seen this warning since 2003 on the internet. Frankly I have never heard or met anyone who has had this experience in Panama.
