Monday, August 21, 2017 The Ministry of the Presidency of Panama plans to design, build and equip an integral educational center, which will have a convention center, an amphitheater, exhibition hall, restaurants and 300 parking spaces. The EIA presented to the Ministry of Environment states that the comprehensive education center José Daniel Crespo, will benefit a population of 5 thousand students and will have 60 preschool classrooms, indoor gymnasium, athletics track, courts and Olympic swimming pool. Friday, November 10, 2017 Data from the interactive information system "Construction in Central America", compiled by the Business Intelligence Unit at CentralAmericaData.Detail of the projects: La Asociación de Religiosos de San Agustín submitted an EIA to build and equip an educational campus which will have teaching classrooms, sports courts, parking lots, a church and administrative offices. The project that is called "Colegio San Agustín" and will be located in La Chorrera, province of Panamá Oeste, and according to the study the investment amount is $18.5 million.The Autonomous University of Chiriquí submitted an EIA to build a three-story building that will house a teachers' lounge, library, administrative offices and parking lots. Monday, April 23, 2018 Authorities at the Ministry of Education (Meduca) explained that out of the $92.5 million, almost $76 million will go towards building and renovating schools nationwide, and another $17 million will be allocated to maintenance work.Deputy Minister Ricardo Pinzón explained to Elcapitalfinanciero.com that "... around 60% of the budget has been allocated, and progress has been made in executing 45%."See also: "Tender for educational infrastructure for $13 million""...
