Moderators Moderator_02 Posted February 20, 2017 Moderators Share Posted February 20, 2017 Dear Friends and Animal Lovers, Our good friend Dr. Darrell Gueulette, Veterinarian, after enduring life-changing events, is leaving Panama, and is desperately looking for a GOOD LOVING COMFORTABLE HOME for his two beloved young dogs Millie and Pancho, by the first week of March 2017. Both are Sterilized Spayed and Neutered. Millie: Female dog, red, mixed-breed Doberman-cross – 1 year 6 months Pancho: Male dog, black and tanned mixed-breed Shepperd-cross – 1 year 6 months Millie and Pancho have always grown and been together and are inseparable best friends. We desire for them to remain together. They need a fenced yard with walks, or open space or farm to run and exercise; and mostly they urge a LOVING HUMAN COMPANION. They have a cat and leave the cat alone. They must NOT be near chickens as they will chase and kill chickens. Dottie Atwater
I don't understand why so many people want to abandon their "beloved dogs" instead of taking the dogs with them when they leave. In this case, I understand that he has had a life-changing event, but it seems that beloved dogs would be a comfort in sad times. Bonnie
Dottie, I don't disagree with you. But there are special cases. Two life-changing events of which I'm aware are returning to live with family one or more member of which is allergic to dogs/cats, and relocating to an assisted living facility that doesn't accept pets. Sometimes heart-wrenching decisions have to be made.
Dottie Atwater
I wasn't being critical necessarily, just musing out loud.
