First and foremost, a huge thank you to Carol Cardinale Santana, who oversaw and worked tirelessly to bring this event to fruition. Jennifer Peterous did an amazing job of decorating the building, with the help of Doris Day, Pat Mains and Jeannie Bell. Thanks also to Becky Campeau for the design and construction of the cashier’s cage, and Carl Strunk for construction of the Wheel of Fortune. Special thanks to Panama Red Rum for its outstanding sponsorship of Amigos de Animales. Many thanks also to Mike’s Global Grill, Greenhouse Restaurant, Varela Liquors, Show Pony Resort in Las Lajas, Tre Scalini Restaurant in Panama City , Lu Lu’s Garden, Boquete Tree Trek, Explora Ya, BCP, Vista Encanto Coffee, Villa Estrella Coffee and the many private donors who contributed a wonderful assortment of prizes. Thanks to our amazing card dealers, Mike Potts, Tamara Balkenhol, Tom Turchan, Martine Heyer, Chris Jones, Ken Campeau, Dennis Philpot & Penny Barrett. A big shout-out to our great Bingo callers, Michael Jason Stone, Nan Landsman & Herta Bernbach. Thank you to Carol Hurst and Sheila Strunk for coordinating the food, and to the wonderful & attentive staff who served the food & drinks, as well as our wonderful bartenders. If we missed thanking you for your valuable contribution, please accept our apologies and know it was merely an oversight! We truly appreciate every one of our volunteers and all the people who make Animales such a great organization! If you missed this year’s Casino Night, we may do it again next year - stay tuned!
