James Bondeaux provided this information on the Boquete Talks IO group forum:

The authorities just issued additional directives, limiting access to "commercial establishments" by sex to alternate days.

The schedule can be a little confusing, so I developed a calendar focused on "open hours".

No details were published, so I assume that "commercial establishment" includes any business, from retail store to beauty salon, to repair shop, to restaurant, grocery market, and pharmacy.

With all due respect (and compassion), Christmas itself is not cancelled.  Our plans and activities likely have been, unless our plans were to essentially ignore the day.  But Christmas will come.  And those of us who celebrate the so-great gift given to us will rejoice in that, despite everything.
