Many of you know that we run a mail service at the Tuesday market at BCP. We sell US stamps and find volunteers to take the mail to the US and put it in a mail box every week. The person who bought us our last roll of 100 stamps in the U.S. apparently forgot to pack the stamps so we are desperate to get some stamps to sell to those folks who need to mail a letter.
If you have any spare stamps, we can either buy them from you or replace them when we get another roll. It would be great if you could bring them to the table in front of the theater on Tuesday. Or, maybe you know someone who will be coming to Panama from the U.S. soon and who would be willing to bring us a roll of stamps.
This is a very unique service that is offered only in Boquete and we need the community's support to keep it going.
Thank you.

I understand there is a new road replacing the old path and steps the locals would use to walk into Boquete. The road comes into the Boquete-David road near the bottom of the hill to Alto Boquete. What I don't know is where it comes into Volcancito. I want to drive it but, since it is steep in some places, I want to drive it from the top down. Who knows where in Volcancito I can access this road?

This very heavy steel entertainment center is built for a large TV or big LED screen. The tempered glass shelves that fit underneath the top (which is brushed steel) will accommodate other entertainment equipment. We have the shelves and the fitting to mount the shelves. Everything is in good shape. I understand that the steel box in the back is for screen mounting (we do not have that part) and for cable management.Need strong guys to move.
Being sold by the Handicap Foundation for $45. Email pjbarrett@aol.com to buy.
We've reduced the price of the entertainment unit to $45

On Thursday 10 of us from Boquete attended Panama the Musical. It was great fun. While most of us felt the plot was a little convoluted, the music and dancing, and lighting were outstanding. We had bought front row center seats but those turned out to be almost on top of the orchestra so we traded them for Row H seats which were perfect. The show will only be in Panama a bit longer before moving to Toronto and then on to Europe. The theater was one I had never heard of and is located in The Ciudad Del Saber (aka Clayton). It was an excellent theater with good acoustics. I know Linda Hart and Judy Tovar are organizing an overnight bus trip to the show in early March. That would be a lot of fun to go on.
Don't miss it before it's gone on to bigger and better things.

Not sure about the BJBF tiles, but this appears to be a different festival than the one coming up in Boquete.
I can't understand why Antonio Singh the originator of thr Boquete Jazz Festival would want to try and start a competing event in David!!

This comfy sofa was donated to the Handicap Foundation and is for sale for $150. We think it's about 5'10" long. The dark grey color is a little faded, but the couch is clean, no holes in the fabric. It's not obvious what brand it is.
We can make an appointment for you to see it and sit in it. Email pjbarrett@aol.com

This place has always had the best hamburger -- about 20 - 25% fat. Also, the butcher has worked in the U.S. so he knows US cuts of beef. For example, if you want a chuck roast, give him a little notice and he'll cut one for you.
