Residents in West Panama are planning protests to demand some short-term solutions to a quality of life problem that has bugged them for years. They say that every day they must spend three to four hours in vehicular traffic to get to their jobs in Panama City and face the same challenge to return to their homes at night.

Motorist in  Panama West staged a protest with a difference on Monday, July 23 to demand some short-term solutions to a quality of life problem that has bugged them for years.

From 4 a.m. on the highway to Panama City. they drove in their  hundreds with signal lights flahing

They say that every day they must spend three to four hours in vehicular traffic to get to their jobs in Panama City and face the same challenge to return to their homes.
