United States Embassy Handover Ceremony

Dear Friends,

 

The Boquete Library is pleased to announce that the next Thursday 12^th of July at 11:00 am, we will have the honor to receive Mrs. Roxanne Cabral, Chargé d’Affaires a.i. at U.S. Embassy Panama. The reason of her visit is for a Handover Ceremony of a donation to The Bilingual Reading Program: “Una Aventura con el libro y yo” that Fundacion Biblioteca de Boquete leads. Over a hundred children 5-7 from attending schools in the outskirts of Boquete will benefit from this exciting and innovative program.

With this donation, we will be able to cover a big part of the costs from the program like round-trip transportation for children, books, teacher’s fee, materials and others.

 

In this visit Mrs. Cabral will share an activity with a group of children from Alto Quiel community.

All of library’s friends are cordially invited to share this great moment with us.

We thank the United States Embassy in Panama for their support with this program, that is so important for our children.
