NewsLady
Dear Friends: The Boquete Library, in June of this year, brings you two unique musical presentations in Chiriqui. During this time of the year, thanks to the events organized by the Association of Guitarists of Panama and the Symphony Concertante Foundation of Panama, remarkably accomplished artists come to Panama, and we are fortunate to be able to offer outstanding concerts here in Boquete. In this atmosphere of cultural exchange, the library has arranged to bring musicians who will be performing and competing in Panama, for additional presentations here in Chiriqui. We are lucky to have this caliber of musicians performing right here in Boquete. This marks the sixth year that Dr. Emiliano Pardo Tristán, President of la Asociación de Guitarristas de Panamá, will bring two of his hand-picked favorites from the competition, to present solo performances to the patrons in Boquete. This is often the most popular concert of the series. On Sunday, June 3, at 4:00 p.m., Guitar Concert: two solo performances by musicians from Mexico and Russia.
