Amigos de Animales

To our friends and animal lovers,

Fundacion Amigos de Animales has had a great year that saw the opening of our very own facility in which to hold our clinics and community events.  We have spayed or neutered over 9500 animals in the Boquete area; this year alone, we sterilized 1907 animals.  We have established feeding stations throughout the community to aid homeless animals and we provide life-saving food for helpless kittens and puppies brought in to our clinics. Our education program has begun working with the schools to teach the children how to care for their pets.

Our goals for 2016 are to continue to provide low cost spay and neuter services for the dogs and cats of our community.  We plan to expand our education program so that it can reach even more school age children to teach them how to be better caretakers for their family pets.

We need your financial help this year more than ever as we have lost major funding from Bid4Boquete which will not be taking place in 2016.  When you sit down to make out your holiday gift list, please remember Fundacion Amigos de Animales Boquete.

You  can write a check made out to FADAB in any amount, drop a cash donation to our volunteers at the Tuesday morning meeting, or donate through PayPal on our website: www.aadab.org.   A donation of just $20 will provide service for one dog or 2 cats plus help pay for needed medications.

For US citizens needing a tax write-off,   we have access to a 501(C)(3) for gifts of $1000 and above.

In this holiday season we will be celebrating our family and friends, both human and animal.  This is a wonderful time for all of us to come together and support the work that Animales has done in this community. Please donate what you can to continue to make a difference for the dogs and cats in our adopted home of Boquete and surrounding areas.

Thank you and Happy Holidays!

Alicia McGuigan and Dottie Thompson

Co-Presidents, Fundacion Amigos de Animales Boquete
