Even if those of us who live alone and have a designated person to administer "last wishes," disposing of everything in a household would be a tremendous burden on that person. As curiosity, I did a search on estate sales and how they work. Here's one example: http://money.howstuffworks.com/personal-finance/financial-planning/estate-sales.htm I'm certainly not interested in starting an estate sale business myself, but doing so could possibly be a lucrative endeavor for some of the younger expats here.
