There will be a memorial gathering on Thursday, 18th May at 10.a.m. to 11 a.m. at the Panamonte Hotel, Boquete where all who knew Smitty are most welcome to join in remembering him. The family has requested no flowers please but donations to the Mae Lewis Hospital in memory of Smitty will be appreciated; a special fund has been initiated. Smitty's wife Lisa has made the following statement to be included in this message: "As a family we would appreciate all donations to be given to Mae Lewis. The hospital handled a VERY traumatic injury perfectly and at the standards we are used to in the USA. Smitty was very happy with the care he received." The funds will be applied toward the continued advancement of medical services for our community. Your contribution WILL make a difference.
