Bud
Your posting reminds me of some good friends from many years past. Perhaps other "old-timers" will remember them as well. I refer to Bob Wolfe and his significant other -- Pon. I don't recall exactly when they left Boquete, but they relocated back to the Chiang Mai area of northwest Thailand, I'm guessing about 8 or so years ago. Pon made THE BEST Thai food of any that I have ever had. I still miss them, not only for the good Thai food but also their friendship. They both were very supportive of our community.
JudyS
Yes it was great Thai food. I also wish someone would open an Indian restaurant. 2 Guys has some good Indian dishes, but not a whole restaurant of them.
Lee
Thai food is among the very best there is. I would eat at a good one at least one time a week. Bring it on!
Keith Woolford
Aren't there a number of Thai dishes on the menu at Seasons?
Jim Bondoux
Yes, Craig offers several Thai dishes from his stay in northern Thailand. The Bangkok soup seems to be a reliable winner with customers, and I have enjoyed his Mekong Sub, which is a chicken sandwich. There are a couple of other Thai dishes. Craig had plans for a seasonal rotation of the menu, and that is way overdue in my opinion. Rumor has it that a new menu is being printed up.... Bonnie
So Craig has returned to Seasons?
Pederhaney
Any type of reasonably priced, authentic Asian/Malaysian/East Indian food (with heat/spice level choices) would be welcomed with open wallet by me. I am so tired of having to go to David for mediocre, typically bland Chinese fare.
Jim Bondoux
I don't believe that Craig ever left Seasons. It has been reported to me that he had a death in the family, and had to suddenly return to the USA for a short trip. His scheduled return was delayed several days due to his inability to get an airline seat to David - it was the height of Carnaval - and that he didn't communicate the delay, leading to the speculation that he had "left" the restaurant. Whatever. He has been at the restaurant for the past ten days.
