In Panama City: Fines increased for parking violations

I certainly hope this reaches Boquete, where there don't appear to be any fines at all for illegal parking. It's common to see people blocking traffic by parking in a thru lane waiting for someone to run an errand. That's bad enough, but one day last week I observed in one trip downtown TWO cars parked in thru lanes with NO one in the car. One of them was near Romero, and it had traffic backed up for blocks.
