Panamdan
Can someone tell me why Panamanian road builders are unable(Or unwilling) to make the road on either side of a bridge at the same level as the bridge. The heavy bumps caused by heavy vehicles constantly hitting the brige can surely not be good gor the bridge and the effect on drivers and passengers of vehicles is most unpleasant.

Keith Woolford
Sounds like you may be staying in Palo Alto. If a bridge washes out at road level, it's replacement often gets set at a higher elevation. Edited August 1, 2016 by Keith Woolford
Bonnie
I believe what Two Sailors and Keith are saying is that we have floods here from time to time. I've been around for two major ones. And the first thing to go was bridges. They are rebuilt higher for extra protection from floods.
