NewsLady Posted February 14, 2022 Share Posted February 14, 2022 Another popular Geology #1 field trips has been added to the field trip schedule, necessitated by the cancellation of several trips in January. This trip is planned for Thursday, February 24. There are currently openings for about 10 people. If you are interested in the introductory field trip and would like to sign up, please do so. This trip starts at 8:00 a.m. at the entrance of the Boquete Country Club in Alto Boquete. It takes approximately 4 hours. The field trip is led by Dr. Paul Myers, emeritus professor of geology at the University of Wisconsin, Eau Claire. There is no charge for the trip but the number of participants is limited to 15. Masks must be worn and proof of vaccination must be provided. If you would like to participate, please email Welthy at welthyh@gmail.com. Additional trips for people who have already been on the introductory trip are planned for March and April.
