The interactive platform "Construction in Central America", from CentralAmericaData's Business Intelligence Unit, includes an updated list of public and private construction projects that have submitted Environmental Impact Assessments (EIA) to the respective institutions in each country.

"In Chiriqui, the construction of 72 single-family residential developments is planned, with an average size of 450 m2 and up for the residential lots.

The public use areas will consist of 3 park areas (a, b and c) and two green areas. In addition, street areas of 12.80 and 12 meters wide, lot for water reserve tank and well, stream and gallery forest easement, area affected by the right of way and pluvial easement.

The residential project will have the basic services of potable water, electricity, primed and double-sealed streets, and a garbage dump for temporary garbage disposal. Wastewater will be managed through an individual septic tank system.

The land area where the project will be developed is 60,000 square meters.
