Boquete Community Pulse
HELP !!! BCP has a Texas Instruments In Focus projector which we use for most of the Tuesday talks for power point presentations. It has recently started shutting down after about 8 minutes of use. It appears that it is overheating because if left to stand for 5 minutes or so it can be restarted for another short time. Is there any technical guy or gal out there who would volunteer their time to help trouble shoot this thing. We don't even know where to buy a new one (if a new one is needed)
Hil
Google the Texas Instruments IN FOCUS projector line. The user manuals for your projector are free and easy to ready. I just looked those projectors up online. You'll need to know the model. Look up clean filters. There may be more than one filter also. A dirty filter causes the projector to over heat and the safety feature shuts down the projector if over heating-----saving the $500 bulb. Boquete Community Pulse
Hilary Jenkins is indeed the man. He doggedly pursued the problem for two days. He reported it fixed about one hour after Amazon confirmed expedited shipping of a new projector to the E-Shop address in Miami. Thank you Hilary; now we have a backup. You're amazing !!!!
