NewsLady
Some more information about the covid vaccinations: The vaccine will be distributed and tracked only via MINSA, not by private doctors or clinics. They will do it in 4 groups, starting in another 1 or 2 weeks. People over 60 are in the second group. The Panama Solidario website link does in fact only accept Panamanian cédulas or permanent resident CIP cards, but everyone has the right to receive the vaccine, and MINSA will be setting up kiosks at their facilities to register people with other IDs. The online registration site is mainly to get a head count for Group 4 (the general public). Not being able to sign up there doesn't exclude a person from getting the vaccine. They know that applications for the CIP cards have been held up and people aren't supposed to be traveling. When people get the first dose of the vaccine, MINSA will issue a bar code document to be able to know who got the vaccine and to plan for the second dose. 1
