La Dirección de Farmacia y Droga, del Ministerio de Salud (Minsa), comunicó que se ordenó retirar del mercado el alcohol Herva Desnaturalizado al 70% y de paso la suspensión del producto, adelantando que el registro sanitario está vencido desde el 29 de mayo de 2017.

“La empresa distribuidora del producto fabricaba y comercializaba el producto farmacéutico sin tener el certificado de buenas prácticas de la fabricación del producto y sin licencia de operación vigente”, informó el Minsa sobre la Resolución N° 739 del 17 de septiembre del 2020.

El Minsa precisa que además del cierre temporal, se le comunicó a la empresa que debe retirar del mercado nacional “todos los productos fabricados por ellos” y que tendrá la responsabilidad de avisar sobre esta medida a los distribuidores del producto.

De igual forma se informó que la empresa puede proceder con un recurso de reconsideración o apelación dentro de los cincos días hábiles siguientes a la notificación de la resolución.

 

Por su parte, la empresa Nacional Química, S.A. informó que antes de la pandemia determinaron que sus licencias, así como algunos registros sanitarios, estaban vencidos. De inmediato iniciaron los trámites para la renovación pero “tuvimos que suspender por la cuarentena general”.

De acuerdo a la compañía, con la apertura de la construcción privada lograron terminar las adecuaciones de las instalaciones “en su totalidad” la semana pasada. “Sin una licencia de operación en orden no podíamos tramitar la renovación de los registros sanitarios, y debido a esta conjunción de eventos estamos en la situación actual”.
