Prensa Is Reporting a Doubling of Coronavirus Cases in Chiriqui In Less than Ten Days

Prensa is reporting on Minsa data about a doubling of coronavirus cases in the Chiriqui Province during the last ten days. The new "hot spot" for coronavirus in Chiriqui developed in an area of poverty and extreme poverty just west of David, and consists of two communities: Divalá and Nuevo México (also spelled Nuevo Méjico). It is this kind of information in the early stage of coronavirus here in Panama that leads to extraordinary mobility controls and other official decrees/edicts.
