Did you exercise on a regular basis in the past, but haven't been doing so for several years or longer? Then Pilates Basics is for you! Come meet your body. Learn how your body is designed to move. Develop better, more youthful posture. Strengthen your core. Learn how to stack the spine, open the chest, rotate using all the joints of your body. Become more aware of how you move & inhabit your body. Improve your balance & become more centered. Strengthen your nervous system & develop greater coordination as you move with awareness and grace. Take greater responsibility for your health and well-being. And...have a Great Time! Now Adding Pilates Basics- on Mondays, Wednesdays & Fridays at 10 a.m.-to the Intermediate classes- on Mondays & Thursdays at 8:30 a.m. The Intermediate level classes are for those who are body-aware & acquainted with the art of movement. Do Know...All classes give a satisfying work-out as the students are led toward exploring more of his/her potential. Held in the beautiful fitness studio at the Haven. Individual classes are $9 each for residents & $10 for tourists & guests. A package of Unlimited classes for a month is available to everyone at $75. All props- including mats, magic circles, stretchy bands, light hand weights & different size balls- are provided. However, bring a Yoga mat if you have one to be guaranteed two for comfort, as we go down to the floor. Begin anytime! Regular attendance is recommended to learn something new and to feel one's self progressing.
