Monday, September 2, 2019 For the contracting process the companies that participated were Puentes y Calzadas Infraestructura S.L.U. with a proposal that reached $91.6 million, that of Mota-Engil S.A. to $89.9 million, that of Asfaltos Panameños S.A. at $88.4 million, Constructora Urbana S.A. at $86.7 million, Construtora Norberto Odebrecht S.A. at $85.9 million, Constructora Meco at $81.3 million, and Bagatrac, S.A., which won the tender, amounted to $84.2 million. The project has a length of 66.2 kilometers; however, the Tendering Entity may determine works that, within the execution of the work in the field, are detected as required, that have not been defined in the terms of reference and the plans, to ensure the connectivity and integrity of the road networks and/or for accessibility to basic services.
