Friday, August 9, 2019 The most updated figures of the General Comptroller of Panama, detail that in the first six months of 2019 were generated 5,566 million kwh, which is equivalent to a 3.7% increase over the 5,366 million offered in the same period of 2018. See "Central America: $1.6 billion in Energy Projects” The report states that from January to June the country offered 2,717 million kwh of electricity generated from renewable sources, including hydropower, wind and solar, a figure that is 34% lower than the 4,128 million kwh reported in the same period of 2018.
