NewsLady Posted March 19, 2019 Share Posted March 19, 2019 Dear Friends of Jim and Shirley Maffitt, Tomorrow, we will be smiling and laughing ... remembering Dear Jim. Jim and Shirley joined Dave and me, and many of you, in the joy, of a small community theater back in the beginning of BCP(Boquete Community Players). Imagine, a theater, in a small mountain town in the country of Panama. Through the years Jim and Shirley were present , no matter what play or event was happening. Jim's stature (he is Tall) and demeanor (dignified) were perfect foil for his lively English wife, Shirley. Remember their "George and Gracie Act", and Dancing Pairs? They both were "Luminaires ' on our stage many times, in their own individual roles. Jim and Dave were perfect foils for "Older Great Guys... without great memories", and former San Francisoites, that loved the "old 49ers Football team", and Happy lunching guys at Friday "Romeos".
