The president of the Panamanian Soccer Federation (Fepafut), Pedro Chaluja, warned today that the opening of the Confederation North, Central America and the Caribbean Footbal (Concacaf) League tomorrow in Panama is in danger, in addition there is a risk that the Rommel Fernández stadium will be fined with $ 25,000, due to a stage for a "private event".

The closest publicized event at the Rommel Fernández stadium is the concert scheduled for August 7 of Salsa singer Marc Anthony, although Chaluja did not mention it.

"This (the stage) affects the opening of the Concacaf Champions League tomorrow (Tuesday), this has put us in a position where the stadium can be vetoed for lack of compliance," Chaluja said while featured on the local Channel 13 newscast.

The leader added that in addition to the stadium veto, the Fepafut can be fined with $ 25,000, for this inconvenience.
