    Thank you so much to the New DogCamp Team, Joseph Culleton, Leslie Peever, Claudia Maks and Steve, Debe Emerson and Rod, Sandy Kayser, Ruby McKenzie, Todd Crow, Thanks to Nairn Cutten and Nancy Halbert Cattering for the delicious meal that they cooked and donated for the DogCamp.
     
    Yesterday we made 7 pre adoptions and we received 455.00 dollars. What wonderful day!
    Since the next week, we are going to visit the new forever homes with the dogs!
    Remember we have more dogs that are waiting for their forever homes! Come to visit them at DogCamp!
    If you want to make a donation, dog food, vitamins, dog beds, etc. we will be at BCP Tuesday Market, come and talk to us and know more about our mission at the Boquete Community. We are the only group that have a shelter and can help to rescue animals, contact to the corregidora and the police if you can not speak spanish.
    Next coming event, Big Daddy's, March 24th.

    First Venta de Patio for DogCamp!!!!

    Hello everybody! This year DogCamp will make the first Venta de Patio in September, we are working so hard to continue helping animals and this time we are asking to you for all your gently used items that you can donate to us.

    Thanks to our friend Nairn Cutten and Nancy Halbert for offer all their help and effort to help the dogs from our place(DogCamp). And thanks... to the people who went and support the event. Thanks to the businesses which donated gift certificates, Heidi Lim Rehm from Mikes Globla Grill, Chris Young from Big Daddys Grill , Larry White from Larrys Place, Ed Crupar from Boquete Sandwich Shop , CJ Lucke and Jessica M Cummins from Drunken Moneky Panama, Milena Mana from Gelateria La Ghiotta Boquete , Giuseppe Garibaldi from Otto Gastronomia Italiana, Jim from Boquete Outdoor Adventures, Doris Paredes Duque and Victor Juliao from Boquete Brewing Company . 925 dollars were collect at the event and we will use it for spay/neuter 15 dogs we have ($225), then 15 second vaccines shots will apply to them($225), complete bloodtest to "Mia"(small rescued dog) it will cost $90, deworm pills for 42 dogs ($54.60) and more expenses we will let you know...

  6. DogCamp Boquete
    How was our day yesterday??
    1. 8.45am Chris McColeman and Pauline Verkley came to walk the dogs, Chiki and Junior.

    2. 9.30am Our friend Maureen from Angeles con Colita, came to pick up the cat traps that she borrowed from our friend Zoey Quimby.

    3. 10.00am We received a call from our friend Laura Kasparian who was asking for help for a stray dog in the town. We went to get the dog and we notice that dog was very sick. We took the dog to Dr Chely who confirmed that the dog had distemper, so we had to take the sad decision to put sleep the dog?. Is the first time that we do that.
    Meanwhile Javier was the whole time with the dogs at the DogCamp.
    4. 4:00pm we received the visit of our friend Stan, who came to donate two bags of puppy food and one bag of cat food.
    5. 4:30pm We received the visit of our friends Amy Brumfield and Jim Omer from Boquete Outdoors Adventures, to prepare the ideas for an oncoming project.

    6. 7:00pm We received the visit from our friend Ilona Backeley who came to donate a bag of dog food.
    7. 12:30am Sadie, the pregnant dog was birthing her puppies (10 beautiful doggies)
    If you want to make a donation for these beautiful puppies, we will be at the Tuesday market or you can come to visit the dogs at DogCamp.

    Because we work really really hard for animal welfare in Boquete.
    Today, we went to visit some schools for setting up the dates for our second year of Amigos de Animales - DogCamp Educational Program, because education is the key for the future.

    27 dogs received their vaccines, thank you Nicolas Mellana for your help. 2 cats were adopted, 3 pre Adoption of dogs!!! Great day!!
    In August our volunteers from Guadalupano and Benigno Schools, are planning THE DOG FESTIVAL IN TOWN!!!

    Billy, our friendly and lovely dog and Precious!!! Precious is a Basset hound mix one of the best dogs ever!!! She is a rescued dog, she was in terrible conditions, a lady found her after somebody try to burn her.   19. DogCamp Boquete
    Last Friday we received a call from Heather Dyer asking for help for a dog who was living in a cage, we went to see the dog and then went to the Corregidor but the office was closed. We called the Corregidor the last Monday and ask her for help about this case. The Corregidor went to see the dog and now the animal is free again. We will be in contact with Heather and the Corregidor to be sure the dog is safe.
    Remember if you see a bad owner, you can contact to the corregidor of your area or we can help you with the translation if you don't speak Spanish.

    Velvet was dumped right before giving birth, despite having been someone’s well cared for pet. Kind people took her and her babies to foster for a few days, after that, our friend Judy Odom took the cats and gave them a lot of attention and love.
    Now all the cats are ready for their forever homes.
    Judy Odom spayed and neutered them, gave all the shots and she continues feeding them.
    So now we would like to ask you for donations for these beautiful momma and kittens while they are waiting for their forever homes. Please consider to make a donation by PayPal with the subject "Velvet and kittens", we will appreciate all your help.
    If people had not rescued her Velvet and her babies would have suffered terribly, maybe not survived - starvation or killed by dogs, or added to the feral cat population.

    PANCHA! She was rescued in Alto Lino area, near to Finca Lerida. She is a good dog. A bad person cut her face with a machete, she is 15 years old, she came to DogCamp with six puppies, we gave the puppies for adoption and now she is a member of DogCamp!!
