Could the fact that Chiriqui Province has the highest number of COVID cases is because we still have no vaccine available in this area? Just wondering!!

Why is cost not posted in this advertisement ?

Happy ending to this Boquete fund-raising project. Thanks for posting end results....always interested in knowing how donated time and money is used.

I believe many of these 88+ thousand vehicles arrived in Boquete because there were several traffic jams on the down town streets .‼️‼️

Thanks ACCB for hosting this event and posting this information with results of your recent fund raiser with proceeds to support kids in the Esperanza and Comarca areas.
Good job👍👍👏👏🎈🎈

We shopped at this wonderful fruit/vegetable stand again yesterday. Getting to be one of our favorite places to purchase great produce. Clean, well displayed items, and the guys working there are helpful, speak English and are so friendly. Best prices in the area. Suggest you arrive early for best selections. (P.S.... I found picture-perfect broccoli and carrots plus onions.) Bananas and papaya ready for eating.
Plenty of parking, too !! Good addition to Boquete.

Suggest this information should be posted on Chiriqui Life in the topic of Maggie List (Animal Care Resources of Chiriqui Province)

We bought two big bags of bananas, broccoli, pineapple, tomatoes yesterday. Clean store & friendly service by owner. Great prices, too!!!!

Boquete Market and the only community theater both gone. How sad.

Anyone know why banks now allow only $200 to $250 withdraws but still charge a $5.25 per transaction fee. True of all banks or which ones in Boquete? Allow only one withdrawal per day?

With fewer vehicles on the road because of lockdown, these “cowboy” drivers are speeding, so probably more deaths will occur in these crashes.
Be extra careful !! Stay safe !!

Alison.....Today (May 1st) is a holiday. All government offices are closed, so clinic may or may not be open for flu shot.

At first lots of hair from our rescue Siberian Husky from Magaly & Javier. Good diet and vet care is solving the problem. I agree with John 13....our vet said females shed more hair with change of season. Just keep brushing your Weasel. ❤️❤️❤️ To you for your new dog.

Anyone remember the public meeting at Boquete Library with John Feeley?
Considering Varela’s economic agreements with China, could there be good reason for Erik Bethel with years of banking/finance experience plus speaks Mandarin to be named as US Ambassador for Panama?

Garbage service in the El Santuario area of Boquete is now limited to one day per week every other week during quarantine.

My question is... Why no notice from US Embassy in PC about this requirement for foreigners with permanent residence (cedula holders) must carry their passport when out of their residence during coronavirus situation ?
Did I miss something?

Don’t know if this roadblock is happening, but if so that reinforces our suggesting residents of Panama have copy of a utility bill or insurance statement in their vehicle in case road is blocked by police. (Cedula does not show individual’s address in Panama.)

Necessary business trip to David today (Friday) so decided to purchase a few things for us at PriceSmart plus shopped for two other families living in Boquete who don’t have transportation.
Only Panamanians in PriceSmart (Bud & I were the only gringos that I saw). Everyone friendly (yes, I know a few Panamanians can be “crusty”, but most are polite and helpful). Everyone paid attention to keep your distance tape on the floor. Staff counted number of people in the store and wore mask and gloves.
Door monitor was wearing mask and gloves; dispersing (required for entry) hand cleaner from a huge bottle, and alerting every shopper “no cash...credit card only for payment”. Of course some potential buyers left immediately.
Overall it was a pleasant experience.

This important blood donor program sponsored by Boquete Health & Hospice is happening Saturday, March 7. WhatsApp 6590-2000 for information. 👍👍

Thank you for this recycle schedule. Have not seen recent information in Boquete community publications about this organization and thought the recycle program was disolved.

What a great project for the community ❤️❤️ Thanks ‼️‼️
