This is the ninth in a series of audio podcasts by Michael Schwartz -- Chiriqui Life Stories. This new podcast is a conversation with Susan Clare. Susan was born and raised in New York. She talks about the challenges of her young years that got her involved with both alcohol and drugs. As a young adult she decided that she wanted more for her life and so she changed her outlook and actions. She has advanced degrees, but changed career paths on several occasions as she was finding what worked best for her. She eventually came to Central America, spent one year in Costa Rica, and then settled in Boquete about five years ago. Susan now teaches Pilates at the Haven Spa.
